The 2nd Annual Brandy Winfield Memorial Poker Run has passed and I am amazed at the support from our community and Marion County. It never ceases to amaze me the impact one person can have on a community as Brandy did. We hope that everyone that participated had a great time and everyone will join us for the next annual ride.
Many times the people that do the most work & deserve the most credit are the ones that are seldom seen or heard. With many hours of work, planning & sacrifice, I would first like to thank my staff, Karen Jerew, Dan Lehner, Missy Pierce, Chad Stallsmith, Stacey Webb, Greg Layne & Diane Morgan. Without their dedication, I would never be able to organize this event. You all are very special to me and my hats off to you for a job well done.
Many Individuals donated their time in the days prior to help with setting up everything for the event. My thanks to Bob Taylor & his staff at the Knight’s of Columbus, Dan Jerew, Doug Herr, John Baker & Gary Squires. Also thank you to Merle Chesser and John Baker for the donation of lights for the tents.
