The Brandy Winfield Memorial Poker Run has been
able to help many worthwhile causes over the past
7 years with the support of everyone involved.
Proceeds from the 2011 ride will benefit causes
important to the family of Brandy Winfield.
Organizations benefiting from the 2011 Brandy
Winfield Memorial Poker Run will be:
- The Marion Junior Service Guild’s Christmas
Clearinghouse is an organization which helps
Marion County families over the holiday season.
In 2010 almost 400 families received help over
the holidays.
- The Boys & Girls Club of Marion, serving
over 600 children in Marion County, is an organization
dedicated to providing positive activities to
develop the education, health, self-esteem and
character of the area’s youth. Their mission
is “To enable al young people, especially
those who need us most, to reach their full
potential as productive, caring, responsible
citizens.”
- Also for the 2nd year, a donation will be
made to the Marion County Relay for Life.
The Brandy Winfield Memorial Poker Run is honored
to help these 3 organizations that are so important
to the residents of Marion County.
Since the first run on June 4, 2005, the Brandy
Winfield Memorial Poker Run has raised $103,400.
The groups and organizations that have benefited from this are:

- The Brandy Winfield Memorial Scholarship

- Ridgedale High School Athletic Department
- Concerns of Police Survivors - Ohio Chapter
- Concerns of Police Survivors - Kids Camp
- Tri-Rivers Joint Vocational School Law Enforcement

- The Fraternal Order of Police Steve Young
Memorial Lodge
- Richwood, Ohio Police Department K-9 Fund
- Youth Athletics
- Children of Chevette Jessie
- The Marion County Relay for Life
- Former Marion City Police Officer Cory Winfield's
recovery after he was struck by a drunk driver
while riding his motorcycle home after his shift
on August 19th, 2007.
